I'm bringing a 10 month old with us, staying at a Suite - offsite, I really don't care about a "crib" but want a Play pen. Or is what the hotels call "cribs" just like a Playpen? Obviously we don't travel much. We hate to lug a Playpen with us - won't be room in our trunk. Can you rent playpens for a week somewhere down there?

I believe a lot of the hotels have the porta-cribs that collapse, they are like play-pens with the mesh sides. Where are you staying? I would call and ask what they offer.

They also have cribs at some hotels. Ask the hotel directory where you are staying.

My sil used "baby's away" and I think they have a website. I have also seen posts about other agencies that rent baby equipment in orlando here. You can rent playpen, swings, crib, stroller, highchair etc. While most hotels will provide a crib I haven't ever seen them offer a playpen. The WDW hotels use the pack N play type which could also be used as a playpen.

I called my Suite, I guess they only offer the crib on long legs, so this will do me no good at all. I bet renting a playpen is expensive, have any idea how much per day? Thanks

rents play pens for $4 a day and $20 a week. They will deliver and pick up for an additional fee. Go to www.kidsinsafetyseats.com or do a search for "Orlando Baby Rental Equipment" that search came up with several companies. They all seem to rent any and everything for baby you could need. Good Luck
