Does FP for MSEP 'sell out'

Does FP for MSEP usually "sell out" by the day of? I'd love to FP it on a park hop day but am worried that by the time I'm in the park (say 2pm), there would be none available! We will be there in a week!

With the new FP+ rules, able to get a forth after using the third, I doubt this will be a popular choice anymore.

But it might make for a good use of one of those extra 4/5/6 FP+ choices. If it's getting late in the evening and you're able to make additional selections and there's space left for Illuminations, or MSEP, Fantasmic etc it might be a good use.

That was my thought - many may shy away from that choice with the new "rules" but then as the day wears on, it will gain in popularity. Which makes it harder for those who are going to park hop - once I use one FP in AK, I would grab the MSEP BUT unfortunately I can't do that since I'd have to be at a kiosk in MK (and wouldn't hop over there until around 2pm).
