Does Fantasmic Package Cost More?

I did the Fantasmic dining package this year at Disneyland California at Blue Bayou and I have also eaten just a meal at Blue Bayou. The Fantasmic package is a set menu, set price, a starter, main course and dessert, as well as a ticket for the reserved viewing area and at Blue Bayou you also get a foam cushion to sit on while watching Fantasmic.

If you just go to eat at Blue Bayou, you choose from an Al A Carte menu. This means each course is priced separately. You can just have a main course if you want and yes this will be cheaper than the Fantasmic package. You could also have all 3 courses and drinks and sides which could work out more expensive than the dining package.

The Fantasmic! Dining Package is a fixed price per person. At MM and HBD it includes app, entree, dessert and a non-alcoholic fountain drink. You can order all the courses or just one or two, but you will pay the fixed price. You can look at the menus for the restaurants on allears, wdwinfo or the DW website to see what you would order if not doing the F!DP and compare it to the fixed price. H&V is a buffet.

Pretty sure the OP is asking about the F!DP at WDW because
1. This board is about WDW restaurants
2. The OP has a trip to WDW next month ( its in their signature.)

OP, I can't really answer that. It depends on what you order. If you were to just order one or two courses, or were to order the least expensive items on the menu, then yes, the F!DP would cost more

The FDP at H&V, a buffet that always has a fixed price, is $5-$6 more than lunch or dinner alone so the answer is yes to that one.
