Does everyone need a room key for late night EMH"

I heard they scan the keys now and give you a bracelet for extra hours. Do all the kids also need a key-what is scanned the name/age/hotel and room? Can we have all the names put on a master key so they dont get lost or forget one?

I know when DH and I were there last Oct, each of our passes were scanned and therefore you would need all passes. Not sure if anything has changed since then - I'm sure someone who has been recently can confirm/deny for you.

we had everyones tix but only had brought one room key so we asked and they said that all the info was one the one key to say "4 guests" so we had no problem.....hope this helps

There needs to be a KEY-CARD for each member of your party (except for very small children).

No, the kids don't need to be HOLDING the card (Dad or Mom can keep it) but make sure when you check in that the desk CM does ISSUE a card for each person.

That's the rule.
If the CM will "bend" it, that's up to the CM.

Everyone needs a Key, even the kids. and yes you do get a bracelet for EMH each night you get a different color, we had green and purple!!! you only need to show your room key to get in the park for the Early magic hours though!

They did scan each of our cards when we got the bracelets, but I held them all -- we didn't let my daughter carry her own for fear it'd get lost, though she did get to scan it herself at the gate before giving it back to me. And of course my 2-year-old didn't have his own card, since he didn't need one for admission. The CM wasn't going to give him a bracelet, but he was upset that everyone else was getting one and he wasn't, so she put one on him. It was one of those nice extra gestures that we really appreciated!
