...have to be with you when you arrive at PC and check in? I have a 10:30 PAT and I'm going to try to upgrade at port, so I will be on the first shuttle from MCO (9, I think?).

DH and DS would like to go to Saturday morning mass in Orlando, which would put them on a later shuttle, probably 9:30.

If they need to be with me, though, they will just get on the MCO shuttle with me at 9.

I was able to get us checked in w/o my husband but I had his passport & he already signed all the forms. He was stuck returning our rental car. When he finally got there, he just needed his photo taken for the KTTW and then we boarded.

Took my wife on a cruise in January for her 60th birthday, As a surprise, all 4 of our kids, 6 grandkids and one boyfriend came as well. Our 26 year old son was book in the Walt suite with us. Our son was able to get to the port with his sisters with no problem. The only problem was that when my wife and I entered the port and they checked our documentation they started to ask about the third person on the reservation, but I was able to signal them to stop asking about him before my wife caught on. This was as port of Miami, bu I would expect PC to be the same.

Thanks for the replies...I will bring their passports with me so that I can hopefully check in as soon as i get there. I wouldn't worry about it except that I've read you cannot visit the upgrade desk until you check in.

The only problem is you need an ID or passport to enter the terminal. When I checked in for my husband at Miami (he parked the car off-site), I brought his passport and he kept his ID. If you are bringing your kids' passports, they'll need some id to get into the terminal (at least, my little kids always had their passports checked). But if you give their birth certificates to whoever is bringing them later, that will solve that problem easy peasy.

I have done it I kept my ID with me to get back in. I printed two copies of the online check in ( not asked for my back up) and came in they said yes we have the rest signed and I joined them. Easy.

great idea - I'll have them keep their drivers licenses (DS is 17) and I'll take their passports.
