does everyone have the same february break?

According to the "crowd calendars" I've looked at, President's Week is one of the most crowded of the year. That's why we changed our trip from that week to February 1-8. Many of our schools in NJ always the week off. We've done the trip 2 times before during President's Week and it is crowded, but definitely doable. It's just that for this trip - without kids and celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary - we wanted it to be really special.

Hence, the upgrade to the deluxe hotel, and the decision to take the time off of work (at a school!!) to go during a very uncrowded time.

Jersey Shore, and my kids never had a week off in February. They get chritmas/new years, of course, and then either the week before or after Easter.

I am headed to DL, not WDW for President's week. Fingers crossed to crowds will be manageable.

I live in S. Fla and we have the same two days off as last year, So we'll be at Disney from 2/15-2/18! I wish we had the whole week!

Heck, my kids don't get a spring break, much less a Feb. break.

The schools in my area (southern MD) do not have a break, other than President's Day, but as others have posted ... it seems that crowds can build up even with a federal holiday!

Thanksgiving is often less crowded than most holiday times. Maybe that would work ... ?

We have gone to Disney every year for 17 years during presidents week - always going the Wed before and staying for 10 nights. We found the long weekend was by far the worst of it but still not too bad. With that being said over the past couple years the surrounding towns in CT have done away with Feb break and only give the long weekend. Each year more towns are doing away with that week off.

Here in NH we get a week off at the end of Feb. going into March and then another week at the end of April (nothing for Easter.) Sometimes, with lots of snowdays that puts the last day of school into the end of the third week of June, and since most of our schools don't have a/c it's brutal!

We get the last week of February off IF there is no snow. They start making up snow days beginning Wed, Feb. 26. So if they only have ONE, snow day, they only go that Wednesday. Ridiculous. They did it last year, too, and the kids had to go Monday only. I am hoping for no snow since we have that week at BLT for our first ever DVC stay.

They've done away with the week in 2014-2015.

From Brooklyn NY we have been getting traditionally the 3rd week in Feb off since I was a kid and Im 48.. This year my kids have off from 2/15 to 2/23…weekends included in that.

All I know is I am thrilled we get off a week in FEB We recently located to the Seattle area from Chicago area, and was shocked when I first saw the school calendar! We had originally considered DL, but that turned into an Aulani trip so we are excited! Airfare a bit better on the West Coast

Long Island is off on Pres Week. When we bought DVC we based our first contract on that week in a one bedroom because we went every year.

Still do too! But we needed more points for more studio's or 2 bedrooms as the kids grew, so we added on, and on, and on, and on!

Just chiming in from Michigan. Most schools in the Detroit area are off the week after Presidents' Day. We're headed down that week also.
