I'm slightly concerned that after 7 years of being together that we don't have a song! Really struggling to come up with a song for the first dance!

anyone else had the same problem?

We dont have a song either. I have a song that i'd love to be "our" song (Mchael Bauble - Hold On) but Neil doesnt like Michael.

Were not having a first dance though so it doesnt bother me too much

We don't really have a song either. Chris really likes Take That though (I know strange boy!) so I think we are having Rule the world. It's either that or Dolly and Kenny!

We didn't either. We ended up choosing "Beyond the Sea" because it fit with our jazz/vintage theme for music and because DH is in the navy (it took him a few months to figure that connection out). Just look for a song that makes you both feel happy.

We are having a Celine Dion song, because we both like it, i wanted Chasing Cars but DF wouldn't let me lol, he hates it.

Love your dogs, i also have 2 huskies x

I love Take That Rule the World .... but Neil doesnt like them.

Thank you rachy - they are my babies and I love em. I'm always grateful for pictures of huskies - i love them. PM me if you have some (i dont want to hijack this thread!)

LOL...my DH and I dated through the 80's and were married in '90. Our first dance was to Debbie Gibson Lost in Your Eyes...however, our final dance - When You Wish Upon a Star - the Pinocchio version! It was perfect :lovestruc

We're not having a first dance as such, but we are having "ugly bug ball" at our cake cutting! LOL!

We don't have a song either but we decided on "can You Feel The Love Tonight", the elton john version for our first dance.

We don't have a song either, there are a couple of songs that remind us of one another, but no song that we refer to as 'our' song. we aren't having a 'first dance' though so not really an issue.

We've been dating for over 7 years and have never had a song either. We are also doing Elton John Can you feel the love tonight for our first dance.

We don't have a song and we didn't do a dance either. Well, Mickey just starting waltzing with me and then passed me off to my husband so I had no choice.

We have a few songs that are "our songs" but we found them hard to dance to, so we just went through our music library and chose something pretty and easy to dance to-something that felt right for us.

If you want to choose a "song" you and your DF should go through your music and also on Youtube & find something that feels right :)

We didn't have a song either; the first song we ever danced to together was Wonderful tonight. I let DH pick our 1st song for the wedding - Let's Stay Together, Al Green...and time of your life by green day for our last song.

My dad always sang (and still does, and now sings it to my DS) When you wish upon a Star to me so that was our daddy-daughter dance, and then we did Baby Mine for my DH and his mom, and I joined in with my dad, and we had all the parent-kid combos join in too; DH and I are both our parents' youngest...we did you've got a friend in me for the wedding party song...I had also given our DJ a bunch of disney music, so most of the "slow" songs were Disney songs.

We don't really have a song either. I was thinking "the Ellie Badge" from the Up soundtrack. It is short and sweet, I love the opening part of the movie about their happy married life. We are using the song "married life" in our ceremony.

The Ugly Bug Ball is great!

We do have a song!! It's "Everything I Do (I do it for you)" by Bryan Adams. DF and I both absolutely looooove that song and it's perfect for us. It was kind of funny because he was the one that actually brought it up and I was surprised to know that he even liked the song, cuz some guys have to be all manly and not mushy.

We had a really hard time because DH and I dont even like the same music genre. We couldnt think of a song, or even an artist we both liked for a while. When we decided on older songs, it helped a lot, there seemed to be more commonground. Eventually we picked "Fly Me To The Moon"
