Does EMH affect crowd levels?

Has anyone noticed an increase in the crowd levels in parks that have EMH?
I want to know if I should avoid those parks on those days, or if really makes that much of a difference?

yeah, from what I've noticed it does effect crowds. I think I remember reading that the day after an EMH day is less crowded, but I don't know if that is true. If you are going to be there for the EMH than go to that park on that day, but if not, than choose another park.

EMH are kind of strange... if it's an EMH morning, the crowds are less for the first hour but then pick up drastically. EMH in the evening and the parks are average during the day, but PACKED at night. We try to hit the AM EMH, the lines are much smaller and we can leave after we've done all we wanted to do. EMH in PM are insane!!

Everybody suspects (no scientific proof) that it's due to the vast majority of people not buying park hoppers. Since they know that the park is open 3 hours later than normal, they are stuck with staying at that park the whole day.

Same thing for morning EMH. For those staying on site, they get stuck at the park that they started with. Then the normal crowd comes in, and thus it looks more crowded.

That's 1 theory, anyway....
