I don't remember the last time I received a paper confirmation. I started asking them to just email me shortly after I joined (about 15yrs ago). I'm not sure when they stopped.
I do notice that they still send those booklets but it's more like an information booklet with your reservation details on it. I can understand that some people enjoy seeing them. But for members like myself who feel it's just a waste of paper and postage, I think they can do away with them.
They used to send the annual dues statement and I had asked them to offer an opt out option since I can just check online. It wasn't until years and year later that they offered the option.
I think the worst was the yearly points booklets. They were large with several pages for each resort...then eventually cut it down to mainly the points chart, then finally stopped sending them. They were very well done but I'm sure it was costly to send it yearly. I also suggested an opt out option for those.
