This information must be on this forum somewhere, but I just can't find it. Apologies if it's been asked and answered a zillion times before.

I want to triple-check before deciding on our flights, because I notice that DME won't transfer your luggage after 10 pm. But they will transfer you, right?

If your flight gets into MCO at, say, midnight, do you have to wait longer than the usual DME wait time to get your bus to WDW or are the wait times about the same?

Thanks so much.

Yes. As long as Magical Express expects Guests (which is why they need your flight number and why it's a good idea to update them if that information changes) they will have transportation for you, no matter what time you arrive.

By the way, I just counted. This is only the four billion, six hundred eighty five million, one hundred eleven thousand, seven hundred eighty sixth time the question has been asked. You're fine. We're still WELL under a zillion times ;)

Thank you so much for the info and for the statistics! :rotfl:

Just wanted to add that while DME offers 24 hour transportation service to your resort, it no longer offers luggage service if you arrive past 10:00 PM. So, if you arrive at midnight, you will need to get your luggage (don't use the DME tags) and then get your bus to your resort.

DME schedules it's hours to accomodate guests with airline reservations at MCO (arriving and departing).

The buses don't run 24 hours. The last bus from WDW is (probably) around 9p.

This affects some passengers who don't want to use DME shortly after their flight lands or long before DME would normally schedule their pickup from WDW.

At least one poster was staying at the Hyatt and wanted to take DME early in the morning, at a time in which there might not be any arriving flights.

At least one poster wanted to take DME to MCO at a time in which there aren't any departing flights.

As long as Disney has your flight number you'll be OK.

But the buses do run 24 hrs! If you hold a reservation for an arrival at midnight, DME will get you to your resort. Sure, the buses probably don't run as frequently as those during the afternoon, but they do run.

No problem, as long as DME has the flight number. They'll do whatever is necessary to take care of the last arriving passengers. They'll pick you up 3 hours before your (domestic) flight no matter how early in the morning.

There are times in which there are no arriving/departing flights. A couple of recent threads were from posters who wanted to take a DME bus at a time in whcih DME would have no reason to run buses.
