Does DL have Disney Dining type option?

I'm at the very start of planning our spring trip, thinking first week in May, but learning about rides closing in value season, might make it earlier...

Anyway...

We had a GREAT experience (our first and only so far) at WDW with the Disney Dining. I want to go back solely to eat honestly. Does DL offer any such packages where meals are included if you stay in a DL resort? Or any incentives to stay at a DL resort instead of a Good Neighbor one?

I felt so confused planning the WDW trip, I am feeling that way now too. It's like you guys talk a different language and are talking about a foreign country like it's your hometown.

This will likely be our one and only ever trip to DL, we are going to take our kids (Elise just turned 5, Tara just turned 8) to all 50 states by the time they are 18 and we can't redo states really. So, we want each state to be the ultimate experience.

Any tips, advice, help would be nice!
Thanks in advance,

Nora

PS Elise already has 26 states done, Tara 30

There is a Dining Plan, but it does not save you any money. They give you vouchers for certain amounts of money and when you redeem them, even if you give them more than needed, you won't get change back. It's not a certain # of meals a day, it's a certain amount of $ per day.

If money is no objective, I'd stay at the Grand Californian. Right next to the parks (even has its own entrance to DCA) and very Disney, but quite expensive. If you're on a budget, I would HIGHLY recommend staying offsite. There are plenty of cheap motels/hotels in the area that are within walking distance. Many are even closer to the parks than the DLH and the PPH.

Some favorites on these boards are HOJOS and Best Western Park Place Inn. Though if you want a good hotel (not motel) within 5/10 minutes walking distance, I recommend the Ramada Plaza. Very nice rooms (Closest AAA 3 diamond to the park) and very cheap.

when going to DW I Likw the dining plan for many reason and the best reason is you don't have to carry money to pay for food, it is already paid. This is my 2nd time going to DL and I don't think the dining plan is worth it there, so I didn't the last time and this time I am not doing it either. I didn't think it was worth it. :)
