If you ever gone to WDW, you know that mainly all you need to carry with you to the parks is your ID or Driver's License, your Key to the World and maybe a few small bills or a couple $20s. You can usually charge your bigger purchases back to your hotel to be paid upon check-out. If you are staying in a good neighbor hotel, do you have this same benefit at Disneyland and DCA?

No, the good neighbor hotels do not offer that. The GN hotels are hotels that agree to keep things to a certain standard, sell park hoppers, etc. They are not connected to the DL system at all.

Actually, even the resort hotels don't have a great system in place. You can charge to your room. But it's done via a code on a peice of paper. The paper also works at your monorail pass, and your EE pass if you are staying on site and doing EE more then one day. They cm's have to type in a big code off your paper and see your ID to charge something to your room. Its easier to just pull out a credit/ debit card and pay like everybody else rather then charging it to your room.

We had some real problems trying to charge to our room last summer. It's not really worth it, but it is nice to send all your packages back to your hotel!!

Im shocked to hear anybody had a hard time "just" chargeing to the room. I love this service. I always charge my meals to the room and pay cash for tip, actually it would be cool if you needed to stay off-site and could get your packages taken to the GN hotels!
