Does Disney's Fort Wilderness Have A Maximum Age Limit for RVs

Does Fort Wilderness have a rule or policy that bans RVs that are over 10 or 15 years old? My Class C motorhome is seven years old, and I keep it well maintained, in good repair, clean, and in pristine condition and stored in an enclosed barn when not in use. I don't care to pay tons of money for a new rig if there is nothing wrong with the current one I own.

Hi! FW does not currently have an RV age rule/policy/restriction.

As ProudMom said, the Fort doesn't really have any restrictions on what you "camp" in. I have seen semi trucks with a sleeper, U-Haul trucks, home builts, race trailers and almost anything else you can imagine. One of the great things about the Fort!

You can roll into Ft Wilderness in a Conestoga Wagon as long as you also have your credit card.

The last time we camped at Fort Wilderness, it was in a 17 year old Class C. We did a split stay in which we stayed 2 nights at the Grand Floridian before going to Fort Wilderness, and we were even allowed to park it in the Grand Floridian parking lot the nights that we stayed there.

I think the craziest thing I ever saw being used as a camper at the Fort was a sailboat on a trailer. Obviously the mast was missing, but it did have that "large fin" underneath (sorry, not well versed on sailboat terms). Have seen many over the road trucks with large sleepers, U-Haul trucks and trailers... The options are as wide as the imagination can come up with...

We camped there for over 20 years in a 1966 Airstream. Now we camp in a 2007 5th wheel.

That fin is called the keel. They come in all shapes and sizes.
