Does Disneyland parking allow in/out?

We're going in September (first time) and will be renting a car. So if we park at a Disneyland parking place, will we be allowed to leave/re-enter the parkade during the same day?

I'm thinking we'd take an afternoon break for the little ones.

Also, any tips on parking? I've heard it can be busy, but we're hoping that the middle of Sept won't be as bad.

Mickey and Friends yes. just show him your little receipt.

Simba no.
Pumba maybe but im pretty sure its just like Simba.

if you need to exit out of Pumba and Simba, just bring your receipt to M&F and they should let you back in.

Parking at DL is super easy, especially at the Mickey and Friends parking structure. Once you have your parking spot, just follow everyone else toward the escalators/elevators and down to the tram loading zone. All trams go to the same place and will drop you off at DTD and the security check point just in front of the entrance plaza for DL and DCA. Also, mid-Sept is great for lower crowd levels. Weather can still be quite warm during the day, but cools off at night.
