Hi all. I'm leary of eating at restaurants because I have a reaction to MSG (not pretty  ). The only restaurant I have read about not using MSG is the table service in the China Pavilion... anyone know if there restaurantes I need to watch out for or safe ones to eat at?

This is NOT a definiteive answer, but I'm going to guess no. Only becuase I'm highly sensitive to the stuff and haven't at WDW had any of the tell-tale headaches, racing heart, or breathing issues I get with MSG-laden foods.

I can definitely say "NO". I asked. I too have that same problem. Definitely not pretty. Sort of a migraine. A bad one. Anyway, when I asked about it, I was informed that MSG is not used anywhere at Disney. And I have never encountered a problem in any of my 52 visits. Take a deep breath.:woohoo:

We had to cancel our yak and yeti because after reading a review where a couple dined there with specific MSG allergies and they were told by the chef that only 1 dish they served was MSG free and it was the salad! :sad2:

My Mom has severe migraines brought on by MSG and she can''t take the chance so we are eating at Boma where we heard they do not use any MSG in anything..always ask before you order, it's the safest bet.

:scared: Are you serious. Oh my gosh, thanks for the warning. I too am very sensitive to MSG. I already have horrible migraines and MSG would put me in my hotel room for 2 days in bed. I wanted to try this but now I am happy I didn't make an ADR! Thanks again.
