Does Disney still give tours of OKW?

We would like to consider a resale at OKW (since that seems very convenient to golf), but since it's sold out we have no idea what Disney's policy is about showing it (if you can't tell, I'm a total newbie to considering DVC). Do you tour whichever one of the 3 locations you want with them? What other advantages are there to OKW besides convenience to golf? How's the bus transportation to the parks?

If you stop by the bwv's, they have VWL rooms available for viewing at the sales office. At the moment, DVC is ONLY selling VWL for an on-site DVC location, and that is the only site they will schedule a tour of.

However, if you go to OKW and stop by the DVC sales desk there and tell them you're considering a resale purchase, they may be able to show you a room or two that isn't in use. It's worth a try.

I did just that back in January. I stopped in over at OKW and one of the CM's behind the desk took me on quite a tour. Drove me around the resort and we stopped in and looked at some different rooms. Came back to Hospitality House and toured through all the shops and features there. It all depends on how busy they are and if there are any rooms open that they can show you.

I purchased an OKW resale in Feb.

I'm not sure how convenient OKW is to golfing since the course start is not at the resort. I think you'll still need to drive or get a ride to the course. I know that there are DVC golfing discounts, but you'll have to talk to one of the golfers here to get the details.

I don't golf, but I love to sit on my porch and watch others do it!

Playing golf is not a reason to buy at OKW. About 5 of the holes wind thru OKW/ .But you have to go somewhere else to start play. Vacationing with a golf course view is an amenitie of owning at OKW.
The WLV have a villa that you can visit.
Also at the main sales area at BWV you can take the sales tour and they have computers that will pull up panoramic views of all the villas at all the DVC resorts.
The bus transport at OKW is very good most of the time.
