I would be willing to bet that they do. I've heard that they moniter the CM board which would mean that they do to all of them. But just because they read it doesn't mean that they actually listen!

The several CMs that I spoke to in setting up my reservations for November have all indicated that they (the CMs) do read these boards. As far as Disney officially reading them....I can only speculate that they do.

Perhaps you should be reading the Rumor's and News boards. They may have more answer's for all of the questions you've been asking regarding Disney's business practices.

When I checked in last Feb. at the Poly, I was writing my e-mail address, which is also "Disney Fool" and the CM said, "Oh, so you're Disney Fool! You're on the DIS board!!" I was surprised, and amused. She had me wondering what in the world I'd written to be so remembered. Maybe it was the name. She also remarked on the great discounted rate I got. Then she told me that they read the resort boards all the time, and we laughed about some of the topics. I'd be willing to bet that they get a good chuckle out of some of the things said here. Actually, I'd like to be a CM at a resort and be reading some of this stuff too!!!

I don't think your questions are bothering anyone, but you seem to be looking for information and discussion that isn't usually found on the Theme Park Strategies & Attractions board. MaryKatesMom was making a suggestion about where you might get better and quicker info.

And you still never answered MY question ... why are you wondering if Disney CMs monitor the board? Is it just a simple curiousity, or are you wondering if there's some secret covert Disney group out there that takes names and holds grudges?

how different people can read the same post and see something different?

When I read the first post, I thought, "I wonder, too. It sure would be smart of Disney to do so." This is an excellent group of people to do market research on. If you want an educated opinion on something going on at Disney, take a look to see what Dis members are saying.

Then after reading farther into the thread, I noticed that some people took it as a paranoid question. Kind of a "Big Brother" with Mickey ears thing, I guess.

I hope that Disney does read these boards. It would be really nice if our complaining led to something constructive, wouldn't it?

Ha! I was just reading this thread in confusion and interest! I was going to say the same things!!! I took the question as just an interesting thought, and I would LOVE for the HIGH CM"S to read our points of view! I would think they would like the compliments and might learn from the negatives. But, ya know, even with the "complaining", we do ALL LOVE WDW!!!!!

What better place to find honest comments and questions about WDW than on this board? If I was a DISNEY EXEC. who really cared about what the guests wanted and what would make them happy, you better believe I'd be looking here for that information.

Sometimes it's the "little" things that guests might find hard to put into words that can make or break a fun trip to WDW. You'll find that type of discussion here.

Do I think they monitor this board? They probably do. I hope they do.

We have a Cast Members (CM) Only Board here.

But I did not realize that people thought that it was monitored.

I know for a fact that DCL executives monitor the Cruise Line Discussion Board, and, in some cases, they do act upon the information they read there.

This is totally off topic, but I wanted to let you know that I LOVE your picture of your DD!!!

I had 4 of those dark haired, little pink bundles and your photo brings back such pleasant memories of when then were babies.
Makes me weepy sometimes to think that those days are over for me.
