Does disney do anything special for someone's birthday?

Very interesting! We booked through Costco travel and the agent asked if we were celebrating anything. We sail in April and both my daughters and my mother have April birthdays so I said we are celebrating all of the April birthdays. Actually one of my daughters has her birthday on the last day (debarkation day). My question is, should I be able to see the birthdays noted on my reservation somewhere when I login online at the DCL planning center? I've already done the online check-in and I don't remember seeing anything. Should I call Disney direct to make sure they have the information or will it be fine if I just wait until we get there?

You won't be able to see your birthdays noted on your reservation when you look online. If it concerns you call DLC and check. We celebrated three birthdays on a cruise a couple years ago. All of them were with in a week of each other, two on actual cruiseing days. I called ahead and made sure they noted what nights we wanted to celebrate each birthday in the MDRs.

I always order my wife a cake and have it delivered in the MDR. Its brought by the head server and the rest of our serving team. Cake is always great and we munch on it for a few days back in the room. Its usually around $60. The only odd thing is that if you're not staying concierge (which fortunately we usually do) you have to fax or mail in the order form. Its very 1990's.
