Does Disney change posted EMH's?

If a day is slotted for evening EMH, does it stay that way? We are going to MK for one day (not staying onsite) and want to get there to see the Opening Show. The day we've chosen to go is slotted for evening EMH. Is it pretty safe to assume that even if they choose to change the opening hour, that there will be no morning EMH that day at MK?

1. "Generally," yes.

2. Yes. (Unless... you are attending during a very busy season.)
BTW, you just never know exactly WHAT Disney will or won't do.

They change the park hours often and thus the EMH hours change along with them. Sometimes they change the days of when the EMH actually occur but those changes are not very often.

Very rarely do EMH days change once posted. They are also fairly consistent from one year to the next, unless a major holiday falls on a different day of the week and that necessitates a change. For example, we're visiting 6/25 - 7/5 this year and I've recorded park hours and EMHs for the past 2 years and they're almost identical to this year's, except evening EMH at MK always seems to occur on July 3rd regardless of the day of the week.

We have had ours changed in May once. !! we ended up switching parks day because of it. it was for DHS EMH. Either it was on the 3 or 5 and they switched it to the 4 Im assuming for star wars reasons

The EMH for AK changed a few weeks before our trip. I was pretty unhappy about it. It doesn't seem right to change those things once you are withing the booking window for FP, not to mention ADRs. It would have taken me a lot of time to realign all my reservations if I had decided to switch days.

We had an EMH day change on us last August, luckily it didn't effect our plans. But it does happen
