Does Disney bus go to UniversalStudios?

Hi I am trying to plan a trip and was wondering if we are planning on staying at Disney but want to go to Universal or Beach is this something Disney has a Bus for us to do? Would we need a car? please help! Thanks

Disney does not offer bus transportation to competing theme parks, but Mears does. You can buy a Universal combo ticket through this web site which includes round-trip Mears bus transporation to and from your Disney Resort. This bus also stops at Sea World. You can also call Mears or go on their web site and purchase separate bus transportation vouchers. Today I reserved a seat on the Mears bus that transports guests to and from Sea World and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. If you want to visit a beach, I would recommend renting a car.

Just a fyi, there are numerous locations on property that you can rent a car (details in transportation thread). If you shop the rates you can get a car for a day or for a few days fairly inexpensive.
