I don't know if this question is a stupid one or not. But does Disney block off rooms in anticipation of a code being released? We have reservations for CR during Thanksgiving week. I continually check the availability in hopes that rooms will be left once a code is released. The last time I checked was last week or the week before, and every level of room, except Concierge, was still available. As of last night, the only thing available is Garden Wing, standard view.
I know that Thanksgiving is a busier time. And I would've thought that things would've been booked up long ago. I guess I'm surprised, with the economy, that people would book new vacations within the last two weeks. All the other level of rooms get booked up in two weeks time?
Is it silly to hope that WDW has pulled them to offer them with a code? Or am I dreaming? I hope we stay at CR, but if the code is too good to refuse and we have to move, then we will. But, is it silly to even hope at this point?
TIA!
