Does Disney accept American Express?

I need a quick answer, if possible. Does anyone know if Disney World accepts American Express? My DH has the option of getting an American Express gift card from his employer for a job well done. Do most stores anywhere accept American Express? At least the large chain stores?

Great! Dh and I just got those Delta AMEX cards and I already have enough to fly anywhere/continental US?Hawaii...working on getting 50,000 FF miles so we can go to Paris next year! LOL.

Yup! And I miss AmEx being the 'official' Disney credit card. They used to have cool free stuff when you checked in...fanny packs, hats, etc.
