My vote was
NO!!
For instance:
I can only speak for myself and my family, but, for the holidays we may not have an "official" appetizer, but add up the meat(s), stuffing (dressing in my house), mashed potatoes and/or mac and cheese(if you do that sort of thing), broccoli and cheese casserole (which we do), green beans, sweet potatoes, rolls, etc (it may be different for everybody, just giving an example here). Then add the dessert of cake/pie, cobbler, or whatever. (Which could either be considered an appetizer, an entree with lots of sides, a dessert, or a buffet.)
That is fairly typical of an American holiday meal (for some, of course not for all, I can't/won't speak for everyone), while it indeed may be a lot of food if you pile it high, or not if you make wise choices. My point is, it is what you make it, if you don't want it (on the
DDP, or otherwise), then don't order/eat it. While one may eat that way once, two, three times/year or every Sunday, most don't eat that way every day, as does most will/do not go to Disney everyday. I think it is a great plan, and makes a vacation more enjoyable, not having to worry about meals, cost and all.
It may be a LOT, for some, but not enough for others. I personally wish that, since they have broadened the snack options, they would allow two or three snacks/day instead of the one.
Well anyway, just my longggg winded opinion.
