Does DC Card work for all EC discounts?

I'm curious as to whether my DC card counts as an EC card. The logo on the back--should this get me a discount anywhere the EC card does?? I just booked a room using the EC rate-- do I just show them my DC card or do I need to order an EC card just in case?? Anybody have experience using the DC card instead of the actual EC card??

The Entertainment logo on your Disney Club card should work for hotels anywhere EXCEPT in the WDW and Disneyland areas. The exception is that the Swan and Dolphin hotels at WDW do accept the DC card for the Entertainment rate.
