Does D23 Gold membership immediately start? (Disney+/Founders Circle)

Hey all,

Had quick question. I have enough points banked in my Disney rewards to get a D23 gold membership. I’ve always been interested in a gold membership. But now the possibility of getting the Founder’s Circle is too good to pass up. A couple of quick Questions.

1. Does the membership immediately start? One of the main reasons I’m getting this right now is to get the founders Circle for Disney+

2. If you don’t plan on going To D23, do you still find value in the membership?

1. Yes it does. It'll be awhile before you receive your card in the mail, but you'll have access to the D23 site immediately.
2. Most events take place in California, Florida, and a few larger cities around the country. If you live in any of those areas, then you should definitely find some value. The opinions of people outside of those areas are mixed, with some thinking that their membership is worth the price and some who don't.

Personally, I'm a Charter Member, meaning I joined D23 when it began back in 2009, and I continue to renew my Gold membership every year. It's extremely valuable to me.

Anyone have a link for signing up for Disney+ using the D23 Member offer that was expected to go live today?

EDITED TO ADD: Found it! Log into the D23 website and go to your account info. The offer is listed at the top of the "Manage Your Account / Account Information" page.

@superdeluxe I contemplated a D23 Gold membership and was literally about to pay for it in order to get access to Founders' Circle pricing for D23 Gold members too. I logged into my free general D23 account (went to "My Account," and then "View Account") and the $150-for-3 years offer is RIGHT THERE! I didn't need to sign up for Gold to get the offer!

I just got an email from Disney Chase Visa to join Founders Circle for $119.99 for two years or $169.99 for 3 years...no D23 membership needed
