Does Contemporary ever have discounted rates??

I am NOT going to change my mind. I don't care if I have to save for 10 years before going to Disney (after September)! I am going to save and save until I can stay at the Contemporary!!

Just wondered, if there are ever any deals at this resort. I am NOT an annual pass holder, nor a DVC member. My DH will have AARP after this October. Not a AAA member. Just a plain old working middle class, Midwestern nurse, mother of two. Thanks!!!

With the FTP taking place this year, nothing traditional may apply. If you are looking for discounts, only patience will help. Disney appears to be waiting longer to release discounts, almost as a "if necessary" type thing. If you are expecting discounts, perhaps staying at Universal with an entertainment rate might be better. AAA is small discount, but you save on advance purchase tickets as well.

Usually when discounts are given they include the Cont, but there may not be as many rooms available there until SOG is out. When you do go many times the price difference of an annual pass is more then made up with the discount. You can wait to decide on the annual pass after you find out if a discount will be available. Only one member of the party needs to purchase an AP for the room discount.
