Does Columbia House @ MK close early?

During our trip in October I was planning on eating at Columbia House @ around 5:00. Assuming the park closes at 7:00 that night (going from Oct.2003 hours), will Columbia House still be open.

I know the MK closes some of the counterservice restaruarants early and I need to know if Columbia House is one of them.

Any help is greatly appreciated !

I can't give you a definitive answer, but I wouldn't think so. I believe CHH is very popular, and is in a high traffic part of the park

I doubt it would be closed at 5:00. When the park is open until 10:00 it may close a little earlier, but not 5:00.

My Passporter has the hours listed as 11am - 1 hour before park closing. So I think you'l be okay! Have the tuna sandwich - yum!

We ran into this problem on our trip in Dec. We got in there an hour before park closing and they were closed. It seems they start closing some of the fast food places around nighttime parades and fireworks. The one we find consistenly open is Cosmic Ray's starlight cafe. Also, check with CHH earlier in the day. It seems they post each opening and closing times for fastfoods places at the main entrances.

The days' hours for each restaurant are also posted just outside the entrance. So if you walk by earlier in the day, check out the sign.

We had problems at both MGM and MK trying to find something to eat a couple hours before park closing, it was so frustrating! I think we went to Columbia Harbor House right around 5:00 as well and found it closed in November. The only thing we could find open in that area was a turkey leg cart.

In January, the park closed at 7 and *all* the fast food was closed by 5pm. We wound up having to eat the last 5 pretzels from the pretzel stand. It was awful and my DDs were *cranky* about it. I was really surprised as I (falsely) assumed that they would be open until at least 6 to give families a chance to eat dinner before Wishes! I learned later that Cosmic Ray's was open, but only with a limited menu (which wouldn't have appealed to us anyway). It was the one non-Disney thing we experienced.
