Does California Grill or Jiko have a dress code??

DH and I were at Jiko and I wore a nice cotton dress with flip flops and he wore a polo with jeans and sneakers.

There was a couple that was turned away for wearing (the guy) a sleeveless shirt and all his tattoos were showing so they told him he had to change or purchase a shirt from the gift shop

Dress code is no hats or tank tops on men, no bathing suits, no ripped/torn clothing, and nothing that has offensive graphics or sayings on it.

Jeans are allowed, flip flops are allowed, shorts, tee shirts are allowed.

Even this bare bones dress code is not always enforced.

Most people dress a bit nicer but it is not required and there will be some diners in park attire.

The tattoos showing were not the problem; the sleeveless shirt was the problem.
