Does Cafe Orleans have a minimum purchase? I want to go for the vegan creme brulee and others may want dessert or something else but maybe not a meal. Side note, has anyone tried the vegan creme brulee?

I have not had the creme brulee, so can't comment on that.

You can order whatever you want. You don't need to have a meal. This is true of most restaurants, with some exceptions.

Exceptions include:
Any buffet like meal (mostly character meals)
Any Special Event meal (like Fantasmic seating)
Any restaurant that is only price fixed (can't think of any in DL, but WDW has some).

Yeah, I don't think it would be a problem, but do be considerate of your server's time (and tip!). It should be okay to order a few share-around deserts and beverages.

If you tip as if you'd ordered a meal and not take the table for two hours chatting over desert, most servers I work with will not care and it's an easy table turn for them!
