Does Booking Window Open Before 8am EST Now?

I’m on the DVC booking site right now and it’s showing me that I can book Boardwalk garden view starting 5/3/24 but no standard or boardwalk views available. It’s only 7:42am.

People tend to book and walk those rooms. Also I’m not sure when the renovations start for BWV but it’s likely the rooms could be at a reduced number if some are held out for booking because of that.

If people are walking you’ll see some reservations open for 5/3 starting tomorrow likely. But 5/4 will probably be blocked.

Did you actually try to book May 3? The booking website will show availability even if you can’t book it yet. (For instance you can see 11 month availability at non-home resorts but if you try to book it won’t let you.) Many reports here of seeing availability before 8 AM that vanishes when the clock ticks over to 8:00.

I think their point was how was 5/3 not available prior to 8 am for the boardwalk and standard view.

But the title of the thread asks specifically whether the booking window opens before 8 AM, and their post states the time was 7:42 when

it’s showing me that I can book

I was trying to confirm that they were actually able to book at 7:42, as opposed to simply seeing availability at 7:42.

It may have been my mistake. I didn’t hit the “book it” button yesterday because what I wanted wasn’t available. Today it showed availability and let me choose the dates but when I hit book it, it told me I couldn’t until 8.
