Does blizzard beach open on cold days?

We are going to WDW later this week. The temps are predicted to be in the upper 60s - low 70s for the 1st few days of our stay. I'm hoping for a heatwave towards the end of the week. Anyhow, does anyone know if there is there a minimum temperature for Blizzard Beach to open? My kids really want to go there. They have gone swimming when it's only 63 degrees out (a typical Memorial Day temperature here in Michigan).

When we went to WDW in Dec. there were days it was in the 50-60 range during the day...really cold in the mornings. We saw many people from our hotel going to BB and were even on the bus that dropped off a bunch, so I know it was open then.

I remember a couple of year sago when we went in Dec and we were taking the bus to DD. It was so cold! But the bus still stopped at TL that day and asked if anyone was getting off! The whole bus laughed! I assume it was open though since the bus was stopping there!. We went past BB a few times a couple of weeks ago and it was always open and some days were REALLY chilly!

Wow! Sounds like the same bus I was on-in December, 2003, it was in the 50s when I was on a bus from BWV to DTD, and we stopped at TL to see if anyone wanted to get off. When the bus driver announced it, everyone laughed!
