Does BJ's sell marshmallow fluff?

Fine. I will bite..

Hard to think you need your fluff in bulk buys.. Sure you can hit any local store to get a jar or two off the shelve there..

Anyone know? I couldn't seem to find it at Costco.

They used to sell HUGE buckets of it at Costco years ago. I dont think they produce those huge buckets anymore, or if they do, they dont seem to get to me.

Yes, some of us need our Fluff in bulk. lol. I <3 fluffernutters! You can also bake with it, makes a lovely white frosting for Smores cupcakes and you can make the No Fail Fudge off the label of the tub.

I just went to their website and you can look who sells it by state. I just put in MA and they do sell it at BJs. I would double check your state though.

Well, you made me look it up, never heard of it. All my wife's fudge recipes call for Kraft Marshmallow creme.

Their site says Walmart has it, so there's a place to start....unless you truly do need a 55 gallon barrel.:lmao:

Actually, it's for a preschool autism classroom for an ongoing project and sensory activity they will do every Friday at school. I bought a larger sized container at our local market, but with 9 kiddos, it got used up very quickly! I'm trying to find one big tub to last the next 6 months, since I'm guessing Fluff does not have an expiration date.

Thank you!! I'm in MA as well-western part of the state! Didn't think to check their website! I'm wondering if the Chicopee BJ's doesn't carry it, but maybe Greenfield does....

ETA: I just went to the website-how did you search for products by state???

Thank you-I didn't think to check Walmart either!! :) Oh my a 55 gallon barrel of fluff....oh, the possibilities.... :rotfl2:

I needed it in bulk for vacation bible school and we couldn't find it at BJ's or Costco. Maybe you'll have better luck.

FWIW - I'm in MA and the one nearest me does NOT have it - I've checked. So, it's not in all the MA stores. I hope you find it!

Southeast MA - The BJ's is usually go to is in Weymouth. It's an older one; seems like some of the newer/ even larger ones may carry some additional products.

Ours seems older too, out in Chicopee.

BTW, I worked in a nursing home on the Weymouth Landing right after college (late 1990's!) & my dad's office used to be in the office park across from the South Shore Mall!

It actually does have an expiration date and will start to separate as it gets older :) I know this because I went to use my tub of fluff this past weekend and noticed it expired earlier this year.

One thought...since you want a larger quantity for a school, why not contact their customer service and explain your situation, they may be able to help. It is not unheard for teachers/organizations to get things directly from a manufacturer. Doesn't hurt to ask :thumbsup2

I have gotten at my local BJs eastern/central MA over the years, but generally closer to the holidays (assume they have it for all the holiday fudge makers out there, me I use it for whoopie pie icing).

Good luck!

Well Massachusett-ians, you do know Marshmallow Fluff is produced in Lynn, Mass right? Maybe its the sugar that makes all the people there crazy. Just one big sugar high!

Ive seen them at the BJ's in Taunton, MA last year. my mom buys it in bulk for her fudge!

Check your local dollar store. For some reason, we can't find it in our supermarkets, but the surplus ends up at all our dollar stores. :confused3

Plus, opening many small jars would stay more hygienic than reopening the same tub for 6 months.

Just so you know, Kraft Marshmallow Creme is the imitator ;). Marshmallow Fluff is the original product, the real thing.

::yes:: And the No Fail Fudge recipe on the label is out of this world. Someone made it for a party once and we were all oohing and aahing over it. :faint: I finally chased the gal down who made it and cornered her for her recipe. She sheepishly told me it was the Marshmallow Fluff's No Fail Fudge recipe.

I'll have to take your word for it...although a quick Google search reveals that marshmallow creme was used in Ancient Greece....so sounds like BOTH are imitators.

Small World - My mom works in a nursing home just outside of Weymouth Landing. :) I grew up in Weymouth, but DH and I decided to buy a house in a smaller community in the area.
