Does Bed Bath and Beyond Raise...

Does Bad Bath and Beyond raise prices assuming everyone has a 20% off coupon or are they relatively competitive? I'm not very good at paying attention to pricing and BBB is the closest 'home goods store' to my condo - about one block away. I find myself there once a month or so, usually on a 'I need xyz today' kind of runs. I'm guessing driving or taking the "L" to a different store would mitigate the price increase, but am curious how much/if any more expensive BBB is?

I think BB&B prices are a bit higher in general. I was looking at a Simply Human trash can at Target for 59.99. The same one at BB&B was 69.99, or 55.99 if you used a coupon. (Ultimately I found one for half the cost at BB&B on clearance and got the 20% off on that!) Same with Kohls. In either case if it's not a house brand, I check prices before buying without a discount or coupon.

BBB definitely has higher prices on most of their items and the 20% coupons they mail out bring the price either to where it should be or a little less.

I'll always shop at BBB, however. I love the things they sell and the staff is always helpful and friendly. They also carry some unique items that you won't find at other stores.

We love to use our BBB coupons for Kaurig coffee since it is the same price everyplace else.

Local BBB will takes their own printed 20% off and $5 off $15 coupons after thet have expired too. They will not take the ones that you print your self after expiration though.

They allow stacking too. 20% off coupons up to number of items you have or multiples of $15 purchases for the $5 off coupons.
