Does BCV have their own walkway to Epcot?

Does BCV have their own walkway to Epcot? Does it have one that connects at some point to the regular walkway? Or do you need to go through Beach Club to get to the walkway?

I've never stayed there, but BCV does have a walkway that comes out close to the bridge heading over to International Gateway. It is a very short walk....just a few minutes.

cool! I'm trying to determine what kind of room request to put in and I'm not so interested in fireworks view so much as being able to walk over to the showcase and see them up close so being closer to the villas walkway would be better for me...

By regular walkway, I guess you are referring to the international gateway. You do not need to go through the BCV lobby. If you go towards Epcot when you leave the BCV you can walk along (outsie) a path (next to the BC) that takes you to the international gateway (just before the bridge). It save a few steps and is pretty nicely landscaped. It is a nice walk (maybe 5 - 8 minutes to get to the enterence of Epcot).

The main walkway emerges from Epcot's International Gateway, passes a bridge over to the Boardwalk, passes the BCV, then continues along the shore past the entire BC and YC. It's not a "private entrance" by any means, but it's a wonderful way to duck out of Epcot after IllumiNations.

There is a smaller, more private walkway that might be the one you're thinking of. It starts at the edge of the BC closest to Epcot as a little gated branch off the main walkway, and winds along the "woodlands" past the Epcot side of the BC and the BCV. Taking this to the main path makes it possible to avoid going out through the BC lobby, which is actually in the wrong direction when you're trying to get to Epcot.

If you're trying to figure out which area to ask for at BCV is order to be closest to the walkway, they're really all the same. Wherever you are, I assume you're going to come down the elevator and that's where you go to the walkway. There's a staircase, I think, that comes down near the ice machines, but I could never find it. So if you ask to be close to the elevators, I would think that would be your closest shot to Epcot.

just ask for a room as close to BC as possible. then look for steps or elevators close to you.

BCV has several elevators - they don't have just one like BWV or VWL.
