First timer here!

Do I have to add my baby to fastpass+? I have all my paying family added to the app with our park tickets linked. (Me, hubby, 9 yr old, 5 yr old). I'm making fastpass selections but it's only for the four of us with paid tickets. Our third child is an infant. So no ticket.

Can I add her in to my fastpasses? Will they require the fastpass to be for 5 people even if she isn't paying and is sitting on a lap?
Help!

you must have a ticket to get a fastpass.
children under 3 do not get a ticket therefore they do not need a fastpass.
there is no "adding" your child to your fastpass.
you make the fastpass selections for everyone with a ticket and then you just bring your baby through the fastpass line with you.

Thank you! This board is fantastic. It's great for newbies like me who are overwhelmed with all of this planning.

I was worried about showing up at a ride and then turning away our party of five because baby was 'extra'.

(I actually had to go back and add baby to all dinner reservations because I read a tip on here that she requires a seat/space even if she's not eating her own meal. That's correct...right? Lol)

Yes. You make dining reservations for the total number of people, not the number of diners.

If you haven't already, you should check out the rider swap pass they offer. It's a great way to maximize your rides and fp+ for rides with height requirements. With the number in your family, it works out perfect.

Rider swap is amazing! Simply bring the entire family to the ride you want to ride that the baby isn't tall enough. They will give you a fp good for 3 people to be used anytime. We liked it because my husband could ride with the kids and then I could ride with therm also. Definitely do this.

No FP since they do not require a ticket under 3. I would like to know which attractions offer the Child Swap as well for our September trip.

Correct.
Baby does not need FP+ but does need to be included in headcount for ADRs.
