Does Aulani resale need notary?

I just closed on an aulani contract as a buyer, and did not have to. Would that be an issue in the future? Title company is Hayes Title, LLC. TIA.

Mine did as a buyer. Did you buy title insurance? I wonder if that’s part of it, mine included the insurance.

I needed a notary as a buyer. I believe State of Hawaii requires a notary for any deeded timeshare.

I bought Aulani resale with Hayes Title,
and didn’t need a notary to close. I thought we did, and have a notary in my office, but it wasn’t necessary. I also purchased title insurance.

Yes, I needed a notary as a buyer, unlike purchasing WDW or GC resale.

I’m in the process of buying an Aulani contract right now and just had my notary appointment today. Although I live in California and was able to use an online notary who happened to be in Texas. The sellers are in Japan and I believe they are having to go to the US Embassy to get their documents notarized.
