Does Atlantis Aquadventure also include the pool/beach?

I was reading the port excursions area and it looks like you can do either the water park OR the beach? I think we'd like to visit the water park for a bit and then maybe relax by a pool or the beach. Is this possible?

We did this and we did go to the beach, there is access to the beach and you can even rent jet skies at the beach also. We walked right from the park to the beach. We spent most of the time at the park on the water rides and only about 1/2 at the beach. Was a good time and my girls had fun.
