Anabella is quite nice and very pretty. Reminds me of the old missions in CA.
We don't take ART though, we just walk. The path takes you across Katella, which is a huge street to cross, then up Disneyland Drive (I believe that's the one), and takes you on a lovely path with "birds of paradise" flowers and palm trees. You go past Paradise Pier Hotel on the left, and ultimately go in the main gorgeous entrance of the Grand Californian, turn left down the first hall and follow the pathways which ultimately put you into the last bit of Downtown Disney. You go from there to the parks.
If you're not into that walk, then just take ART, but it's a pretty walk, so if you can do it, consider trying it.
Yes, I have stayed there back in 2009. I love the atmosphere and the rooms are very nice and clean. It is a big property and have nice pools. The only thing I don't like about the hotel is that the parking fees is more than standard parking fees. I believe it is around $12 a night to park a car. Also there is no free wifi, if you want to use wifi you have to pay.
For $89 a night, that is a very good deal at that hotel. Mostly the room for a 2 queens goes around $100+ a night.
