Does any one give any thought to Mad Cow Disease in the U.S. when it comes to bringing beef home?

How did you get those cows to do that?? We can only get ours to lead from feeder to water tank!!
That's how you stay in shape?? And here people think you are just jogging!RickinNYC said:I tend not to worry too much about mad cows. It's the really ticked off pigeons that have me running scared.

3rd time mad cow found in US--first was a cow shipped from Canada, second was born and raised in Texas, and now this one in Alabamanliedel said:If it showed up in the US I would probably stop buying ground meat but not meat at all.

I did a teeny amount of research and there are at least 150 known cases in the U.S. right now but the government doesn't want people to know.![]()

I have looked and looked and no valid news service that I can find is reporting anything like 150 cases (I should have said human cases because that was what I meant) in the US. If there were the media would be all over it. So far all cows with it in the US were isolated cases. So far, according to a 15 minute search I did today of Google News, there have been 3 cases reported in the US. That does not a conspiracy make.
