Does anyone watch Passions?

I have to say that this is the absolute dumbest soap opera, but I am so addicted!!! LOL!

yeah, I have to admit that I watch it too. The great thing about it is that you can miss a week or 2 or even a month and Sheridan is still in the pit. They need to speed up the storyline and get rid of Teresa!!!! She drives me crazy!!

i must confess...i, too, am addicted to passions.

it has got to be the world's dumbest soap!!! but i'm hooked. i don't watch everyday...but i watch when i can.

don't get rid of theresa! i like her!!! i'm just done with the whole sheridan kidnap story though. it's driving me insane! but you know that as soon as she is free, she'll end up back with antonio...and be torn, once again, about telling him the truth. ugh...NEW STORYLINES PLEASE!!!!

Oh, how I love my passions. Is there any other soap on the air which has gone three years without answering a single question, and yet occasionally the plot zooms forward (perhaps to make up for the fact nothing happens for months on end).

How can one day in harmony last for weeks if not months, and yet the holidays all fall when they should, and pregnancies last a normal nine months (despite the fact that in harmony time, only two or three weeks may have passed)?

How cool a name is Lopez-Fitzgerald?

what does Alistair look like?

has any other show kept a character in a wheelchair for as long as Ivy has been in one?

If sam and Grace own a Bed & Breakfast, why did they have to stay with Tabitha when their house burnt down?

I defy anyone to name a character with as great a nomer as Zombie Charity.

If Sheridan divorces Antonio and marries Luis, will she be Sheridan Crane Lopez-Fitzgerald Lopez-Fitzgerald?

Is there a sexier guy on television than Fox Crane?

Is there a single woman in harmony who isn't in need of some SERIOUS therapy, what with their constant scheming and dreaming about men who either don't want them or have done them wrong?

Is Theresa in love with Ethan, or simply obsessed and in need of some serious slapping about?

Why continue recasting Jessica when the poor kid has never, ever had a storyline? Why is Hank on this show?

Why, oh WHY can I not stop watching?

DH watches it! It is the slowest moving soap on, and all the characters are soooo dumb, and Eve, she is a Doctor who is a specialist in everything. DH complains about it all the time, but he still watches.

I watch this show once a week for the whole hour. It is amazing how storylines go so slow......

I could go three weeks without watching and still not miss a beat. They really need to step up the storylines on this show. I am getting frustrated.

Yes, what the heck is in the darn shed?? Really, what could it possibly be? Well, i'm sure the writer's don't even have a clue.

Why can't Sheridan just suck it up and tell Antonio the truth. I really like Mckenzie Westmore (who plays Sheridan), but i hate how she's so indecisive in character.

I DO like Fox and would actually love to see him and Whitney get together (I really don't like the "new" Chad...or Ethan for that matter), but my favorite is Luis! He is sexy!

I love this show too. Sometimes, it can be...bad. It does progress so slowly. I'm relieved when i finally see everyone in a new outfit after they have been wearing the same one for a month.

I am surprised at the character development of Beth being so psychotic. I cannot stand Thersea one bit! She drives me completely nuts with her eager eyes darting back and forth all the time at Ethan. She is obsessed. She's never actually given another guy a chance because of her whole "fate" theory. Hank has certainly changed since they changed actors. He used to be shorter with dark features and sort of a pain to be around (obsessed with Sheridan) and now he's taller than Luis and quite hunky, sort of "dumb" too. I am in love with Sam Bennett. He's dreamy. Don't you think it's kind of funny how the characters are placed in school (or Ethan in the courtroom) when it's conveinant for the story line?

One of the things I do actually love about this show is that when something happens, they do seem (for the most part) to follow through, no matter how long it takes. A great example:

When the show first started, the cast spent about six weeks — all of which was, of course, one day — at the Harmony fair. at one point, everyone went to visit the fortune teller, who was, in fact, a disguised Tabitha. When predicting Theresa’s fate, the fortune teller said that she would wind up married to a Crane, bearing a child and living within the mansion, but it would not bring her happiness. Well, thresa took that to mean she would wind up with Ethan, of course, thanks to her obsession. Two years later, it had all come true... although she was married to Julian, not Ethan!

And then there was last December, when they had four weddings in the course of a couple weeks... sure, only two couples actually got married, but still...

And then there’s the four or five concurrent pregnancies, with all those damn dancing babies...

As for the shed, I remember after Liz went into the shed and discovered the secret (we never saw what it was, we only saw her reaction), the actress said in an interview that she imagined it was something horrendous, terrifying and a little pornographic. The writers at that time admitted that they had no idea as of yet what it would turn out to be...

the show is so weird, but cool too, I like the whole unreal quality, the fact that they have never tried to stick to the typical soap plot.
