Does anyone use e-coaching?

If you do, how does it work for you? I'm falling behind in my Disneyland Half training thanks to some minor medical hiccups, and it's stressing me out.
I think I would feel better with someone to help me develop as much as I can with the amount of time left, especially sine I'm such a new runner. (did the princess this year, first race ever)
It would have to be e-coaching, because I'm on a cruise ship until Aug 11 with minimal phone limited email access...

So - who uses ecoaches? And is it helpful?

I use an e-coach, and I've been very happy with it so far. I'm advanced in my running and I'm using him to help me get a qualifying time for Boston, but most will work with all types of runners. I really like having someone lay out my training for me and I just follow it and give feedback. If this is something that is affordable, I would jump on it. It is great to have feedback on what you are doing.

Hope this helps.

I e-coach - or did. You get what you pay for with e-coaching. Frankly, unless you are in the higher level of the coach's system, you are just a number. You pay a fee, get a plan and have interaction once every 3-5 weeks. It's not a lot different than going to TrainingPeaks and buying a plan. The better the service, the more it will cost initially to set up a plan.

While I am not going back into the business I am will to help set up a plan or to help narrow down choices. PM me if you have questions

I recently started Galloway e-coaching in preparation for my 1st Goofy. I had some issues training for and during my 1st marathon so I wanted some help (and some accountability). I touch base with him weekly (every Tuesday I'm supposed to email him with an update). He's been very quick to respond to my questions so far. It's only been a few weeks but I'm happy that I'm doing it.
My training plan takes into account my fall races (ToT 10 miler with a local 1/2 marathon the following weekend) and seems to be working for me.
I'm pretty new to it but I like having a plan and someone to answer my questions.

Thanks for your updates, folks.

I'm glad to hear people like the experience. I suppose, like everything, you get out what you put in.
