Does anyone sell a "DIS" button or pin?

I wish that someone would market and sell a button or pin that says "DIS" on it and has lime green color on it. We could pin it to our shirt or backpack or waistpack. Maybe, even a space to write our first name or DIS name.

Ray, I don't sell them, but I did have a friend make DIS buttons for a few of the DIS meets I went to. I don't think I could possibly ask her to make 300! She'd shoot me. I guess we'll have to be happy with lime green ribbons. Also, I do believe we will be getting a special pin at convention registration. Maybe that will be just what you're looking for.

I agree with Barb about a convention pin...I think they will have those! But buttons!!! How can I get my hands on a button machine? ::thinking:: I'll get back to this...

Tia, I do have some left over. I think they say DIS 2001. I will have to dig them out and see how many I have. They are about 1-1 1/2 inches, with a lime green background. I'll let you know.

Another thing I just remembered is that on the Collector's Board there is a pin trader (I think it's Parkhopper) who makes a great pin trader DIS pin. All you have to do is send him a pin to trade and he'll send you the pin trader pin.

Barb. Wouldn't have a pin to trade with though. Oh well. I'll have to figure out another way to get one.

During our Fall Carnival at my son's school (used to be my DD's school. This is DS's first year) we borrow a buttom-making machine from a church and set up a booth for the children to make their own buttons. They color the little round piece of paper and then a grown-up volunteer makes a button for them--right there on the spot! It's really fun!

Barb, if you find any of those buttons, I sure would like buy one from you. I'm not much for ribbons,but I would wear a green DIS button. I have been waiting a long time for the "events only" tickets to open up, but I don't think that it's going to happen. I'm going to WDW in September, too, hopefully to meet some other DIS'ers.

We are also looking at shirts, sweatshirts (it maybe a little chilly for the convention) and maybe a few other things such as mousepads and/or Christmas ornaments. I believe, but don't hold me to this, you will be able to preorder these and pick them up at Convention registration. I'll have to get back to you on this however (I should know very soon )
