I've got an idea! I don't think most CM's say many negative things to the many "tourons" out there who are beyond rude to them at times....and there are CM's who do give out nice pins or certificates randomly to families or do acts of kindness that go above and beyond...maybe instead of focusing on the bad CM's we should focus on the ones that go beyond and make our stay magical....maybe we as patrons could come up with a lime green certificate or a special pin for them that shows how much we appreciated THEIR kindness...maybe the word would get out and we'd have less bad ones out there. Am I making any sense?
Maybe if we give good we'll get good...when I've had a bad CM, I just get downhearted at how callous they are acting and feel sorry for them...it puts a damper on my attitude for a bit but I really don't think there's anything constructive I could say at that point to them that would make a difference. The worst CM I had, luckily was overheard by another CM, and while I was in too much shock and trauma (long story) to respond..the other CM came up to me and profusely apologized for his beyond crappy attitude and she said she would speak to the manager on my behalf because I was too upset to want to deal with it and she graciously upgraded us to Savannah view at a $129 rate...so maybe I wouldn't have received an upgrade like that had his attitude not been picked up by another CM...it seems there are usually checks and balances with these things. The biggest payback a bad CM gets is the misery he/she is obviously living in at that time...they should receive my pity not my retort.
