Does anyone remember more FoP FPs added last November?

I'm vaguely remembering last year at this time when I made my 60 FPs I wasn't able to get FoP for Jersey Week. But then a little while later, a bunch more FoP FPs were loaded into the system (people announced it here) and I was able to get them easily. Or, I'm completely imagining this. Anyone know?

It happens when park hours are expanded, otherwise it is not predictable nor at all common.

It definitely happened last year as we were able to move ours around to a better time.

BUT I wouldn't expect it again. They didn't change the hours last year, so mesaboy2's explanation doesn't fit this one. I don't think anyone ever hypothesized as to why they added more.

Yes I remember that too during Jersey week last year. Not sure why or if it is something that might repeat but you are remembering correctly.

I think last year was also a result of them understanding the ride queue operations more. At first they don't really want the fastpass line to be hours long, so they limit the number of FPs. Once they get a handle on it, they can more accurately estimate how many FPs should be given out for a particular time slot. I would think something could happen with SDD sooner rather than later. For FoP it'll probably be less likely, though they did do a huge drop for September in end July/August and my friend was able to get lots of good FPs despite not booking a trip until well after the 60 day mark. If he had gone in the next day to book FPs, then it would have been a different story!

You are correct. I wouldnt expect the same this year as they have it figured out
