Does anyone regret NOT having another child??

Wow!~ Thanks for all your responses...this is a very supportive board. I think I have that computer virus because my computer kept shutting us off yesterday and again this morning...but so far so good now.
I remain on the fence. The thought of having a fourth scares me. Right now we are fortunate not to have to count every penny and I never want to be in that position if I can help it. Who knows?
Zebrastripes---I do love that my boys have eachother...a friend to lean on when they're grown and mom and dad are gone or sick. I'm sure whatever decsion you make will be right for your family...don't we all wish we had a crystal ball!

Again, thanks for your support...it's good to know that other people struggle with this issue too. I'll keep you posted if anything interesting happens!

Just thinking....have you heard the way to make a very hard decision? Flip a coin. It's not the answer that's important, though, it's what you find you are wishing the answer is.

Maybe this thread is along the same lines. If you wanted people to convince you that having another was a bad idea, wouldn't you have titled the thread Does anyone regret having another child? Given your comments, it sounds like you and your husband both want another. Good luck either way.

We have 2 DD's 12 & 3. I wish we had one in-between or better yet that they were closer in age but we are blessed to have them at all. I had a very hard time with both pregnancies and a miscarriage in-between. So we are very happy that older DD is no longer an only child. I just wanted her to have a sibling and it made me feel sad alot before DD #2 came along.

I had my 2 when I was in my early 20's. Now I'm 32 and back in college. My DH had a V, and the one time I felt the urge for another, I got a dog and was cured!
