Motorola Mickey cordless phone? (Not the 2-way radio, the real phone).

I'm thinking about getting one but I really need a good phone more than just the fun look of it. I was wondering if anyone here has one and what you think of it.

Here's a description

Also, has anyone seen them for sale in a retail outlet? I'd like to see if I could get a better price than direct from Motorola.

Thanks for your help.

Pam, I have seen them at Target. We don't have that one, but we have 2 Motorola Cordless phones and are very satisfied with them. We had a Sony before and were very happy to get rid of it. ;) ;) I imagine the quality is the same, only the exterior is different.

Sorry to bud into your post, but I haven't been here in a while and wanted to see how my posts look!! Forgive me?????

PamOKW We have the classic one like in the photo. Bought it at Target. Haven't had a problem with it since November. DW/DD are the experts on phone usage.Thank goodness for the ATT plan.LOL DW did say it is hard to hold on to while doing housework, but is just fine most other times.(doesn't cradle well between head and shoulder if that makes any sense.) The ring tones alone make it worth getting.:)

Thanks for the opinons! I thought the shape might be a little awkward but we women are used to giving up comfort for beauty....just look at our shoes. ;)

Now, if I only had a Target :( I'll try their web site.

It is on the Target site and it's $10 cheaper. I think a Mickey phone could be in my future. ;)

We have it and we love it! DH brought it home from his trip to MN for me in November. We love hearing the ringtones when the phone rings. I believe DH bought it at Target while he was in MN. :D

I got mine for Christmas from my partner, just like the one pictures in the link, and I love it! Haven't had any problems with it and the ring tones are great. The only honest complain that I have is that the way the "talk" button is designed when I try to cradle the phone on my shoulder I sometimes hang up the call from putting to my pressure on between my cheeck and the phone. Did that make any sense? Lol..... I still love my phone thought, always makes me smile when Mickey announces an incoming call.

We bought it through the Motorola site along with the FRS radios and we love them both!

KimRaye -- Thanks for the link! I love this site. :)

I have the Mickey phone and LOVE it. It drives DH nuts though! The only drawback.... if you answer another phone on the same line, the song continues to play until the end of that 'phrase'.... does that make sense? So if you are near this phone it makes it hard to hear who is on the line.

My solution... .just always answer the Disney phone! ºoº

I agree with others that it is hard to hold onto hands free, but that just gives you one more good reason to sit down and DIS while on the phone~! ;) :p

And it's all mine!! I love it and esspecially the ringtones!! It's neat!! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:
