Does anyone own the RockCrok from Pampered Chef?

I've had MANY Pampered Chef parties in the past. I have quite a few things from there and LOVE them.

I'm actually doing a catalog party this time and I'm curious on the RockCrok. These have come out since I've had my last party so I haven't had a chance to look at them or touch them.

If you have one, how do you like it? What's the best feature? Worst?

I'm closing the party out in November and I'll be getting TWO 60% off items, so I think I'm FINALLY going to get the executive pan sets that I've been eyeing forever. I have the old set from many moons ago, but I love these so much more. Can't wait!!!

Yes, I own the everyday rockcrok and the new 2 qt casserole rockcrok. And I love them! I didn't think I'd use them very often, but find myself pulling one or the other out of the cabinet at least 4 to 5 times a week. Now I want the big one.

The worst feature is that you can't use them on high on the stove for more than the time it takes until whatever is in the pan boils. Bring to boil and quickly reduce to simmer. But, if you're looking to deep fry in this pan, move on.

Other than that, which is minimal as I don't usually boil the mess out of many things, it's fabulous! I use it for rice dishes, soups, chilis, stews, pasta, vegetables, casseroles, sauces and will be using both pans during Thanksgiving. If the stove gets too full, I can move one of them to the microwave or oven, depending on the dish.

I've used mine on the stove, in the microwave, in the oven, under the broiler (without lid) and on the grill (without lid). Bliss!
