i'm trying to decide whether or not to buy a new camera for our next WDW trip.
i was going to buy a fuji camera that was on offer at asda for £129, they didnt have any in stock and never got any back in, so i didnt get it.
i really want one with a good zoom (i think my current camera has a 3x optical), and i've come across the olympus 565. its more expensive (£192 including delivery) but its got a 20x zoom, i've seen a couple of reviews on the net and some videos on youtube showing its features. i LOVE that zoom and i think it's be amazing at disney.
has anyone got one?

I don't own this model but I do have a sp560uz. I know that the 565 has 20x zoom versus 18x for mine. It was a good camera but I was never impressed with the image quality. I also had some focus issues occasionally. Overall it was a very good learning camera that got me prepared for a DSLR. It does have better than average low light capabilities but not as good as a DSLR. The one thing that was super about it was the 28mm-500mm range.

i love the last photo :)
i'm not that good at photography, i wouldnt know what to do with a SLR but i like the fact that this camera has a great zoom and still looks easy to use.
would you recommend it to someone who's not that camera tech savvy?

To be honest I never used it in Auto or P mode. I assume that you could get good images from those settings. It is really intended for someone that can use the some of the manual or semi-manual functions.
