Does anyone own a Canon S95? Camera case?

Okay I am leaning more towards the G12 for more user control.

I shoot weddings for a living so by bringing my DSLR with me on vacations still feels like "work" to me. I don't want to be reminded of work with all that gear.

Then you may like the s95. The G12 is big. The s95 has all the manual control, but slides into your pocket.

I guess it's time to make a trip to Adorama or B&H to get a hands-on feel for both cameras.

Canon announces the newer Powershot S100...which replaces the S95...now I guess I can wait for it or get the S95 since the price may drop

I'm a bit scared of the change from CCD to CMOS, but we'll have to wait and see. Otherwise, the specs look promising.

My great wife told me I needed a pocket-sized P&S for my birthday, so I looked at many and boiled it down to three; The Coolpix 9100, the S95, and the SX230. I wanted HD video, stereo sound, lots of zoom, and the ability to zoom in video mode. The S95 won't do this so it was a deal-breaker. The S95 has the best lens, so I don't want argue about that. I got the SX230 yesterday and have played with it and so far I am glad for the choice. I own a Panasonic FX35 and I have enjoyed this camera for two years. I also own an EOS Rebel XS and have fun with that. One thing the SX230 does not do is RAW, something I wish it did.
There are so many good cameras out there it is hard to make a decision. Two wensites I use are http://www.cameralabs.com/, with reviews by Gordon Laing, and http://www.dpreview.com/. I am a frustrated amateur photographer who takes lots of pic and videos of my granddaughters and of course WDW.
