Does anyone NOT take a video camera to WDW?

My sister has a great digital camera that operates as a video recorder too...she had to go out and buy more memory chips but it is easier to switch the button from camera to recorder than it is to carry 2 devices.

We usually bring just the camera, the recorder is such a pain and I always forget to tape stuff anyways. I rarely see people with video recorders...mostly just cameras

We have never taken our video camera with us...too bulky and Momma ain't a pack mule...I carry enough of the boys stuff as it is, but I digress. DS just bought a Kodak easyshare camera for himself and it takes really nice video with sound. He tested it out at DL in June at the Aladdin show...from the nosebleed seats and still quite good. I was pretty jealous of his little camera since my digital is a big Olympus C740..does video also but no sound. So, I've been begging for a new one for my birthday and DH suprised me with the Kodak V570, which as video mode. I've had it 3 days and am loving it! I bought a 2gb memory card and can get about 50 minutes worth of video on it. Although I learned with DS's last month that the battery will start to run out at about 35 minutes. So, now that I have this camera, which is very small and compact...I will be taking video. Oh, my, I just realized that I can videotape the fireworks on our next trip!!!! Gosh, better get a couple more memory cards...LOL
